Refrigeration Upgrade
The expansion of AUFS had been 5 years in the planning with an extra 1636 square meters of freezer and 1189 square meters of medium temp storage comprising of produce, chicken and rice rooms. The rack systems supplied and installed consisted of a 170kW C02 low temperature cascade rack and a 434Kw R134a medium temperature screw rack. For energy cost savings we installed a glycol defrost system heated freely off the medium temperature rack eliminating electric heaters, the system has 2 defrosts a day for less than 15 minutes. A fully automated Emerson control system with touch screen operation making it user friendly.
