Mechanical and Ventilation Installation

This underground carpark the largest in the NT & completely under the ground level on the steps of Darwin’s Court & parliament Precincts.

A new 3 level basement carpark with grassed parkland over the roof is the NTs largest completely underground carpark. Situated within State Square, the structure will also be utilised as a designated public cyclone shelter for 600 people. The scope of works for the mechanical services included ventilation systems in car parking area, mechanical supply & extraction systems in sanitary facilities, generator air intake system, DX Units and all electrical and control equipment.

Works completed: lighting, ventilation, amenities, egress, communications, emergency power, fire safety and debris resistance.
